Total W.A.R. Improv (Write/Act/Repeat) A two-day workshop presented by Tom Neile and Gage Callenius. Saturday, Dec. 9 (11:30am-4:30pm) and Sunday, Dec. 10 (3pm–6:30pm) at Doghouse Theater. *No, there’s no actual writing. Learn to approach improv as a writer and actor. Use various techniques to make your improv strong, stable, dynamic and cohesive—like a good playwright would do. Once you’ve got that, then it’s time to polish up your acting chops. Add great acting technique to a structured scene and elevate your improv (and everyone else’s). When you’ve got that, just repeat. Because every good improviser is part writer, part actor. No day-trippers, please. Only participate if you can attend both sessions.
